Below is only 2 pages of my fiction story.

Mike
Walking to his school gym for basketball practice, Mike knew he would arrive quickly because he only lived three blocks away from his school. He reached out his hand and opened the door of the gym and his coach was there to greet him. Mike was a very tall kid with a buzz cut. His coach always had to look up to him to talk.
“Hey, you’re here,” said the coach patting Mike’s back.
“Yea, so what are we doing today coach,” asked Mike as he turned to the coach.
His coach walked over to the bench to grab his clip board and showed it to Mike it.
“Oh, we are going to practice dribbling today?” said Mike grabbing a ball.
“Yes, we are going to practice that today,” said his coach.
His coach walked to the side of the court. Mike almost ran into his coach as he was dribbling down the court, when he saw someone at the door. Mikes coach and Mike walk over to the door and opened it. A strange man walked in.
“Who are you?” asked Mike as he tried to look at the man’s face.
“I’m Gary Smith. I’m looking for Mike Gipson,” said the man as he looks up to Mike.
“I’m Mike, but why do you need me?” asked Mike as he closed the door.
“Oh, I heard you were a very good basketball player and I wanted to ask you something. Do you want to join my team?” said Gary as he didn’t know what else to say
Mike was speechless; he had no idea that someone actually wanted him on a team.
“Well I’m not sure in ready,” said Mike wondering how he could get better.
“Well that’s see how good you are,” said Gary
Shot after shot he was making everything, and you could tell that Gary was impressed. He was very good at passing and shooting but when it came to dribbling he was very bad. He knew that he would probably not make the team because he was not very good at dribbling, but if he practiced maybe he could make it.
“Hey I think you could be great on the team, except you need to really work on your dribbling,” said Gary patting him on the back.
“I know I do, I’m very bad at It.” said Mike is a soft voice.
